Breathe continuously: exhale on one transfer and inhale on the next instead of holding the breath as the pace rises.
An indicative starting point, not an individual prescription: begin with 2–3 sets of 20–40 seconds at a controlled pace, resting 45–75 seconds.
Regression: shorten the step or keep one hand on a stable support. Progression: gradually increase pace, then add a small bound only when every landing remains stable and quiet.
Stop if sharp, worsening, or joint pain appears, or if balance cannot be recovered between steps. Resume with less range or support, and seek qualified guidance if pain persists.
